Room 16 is a fun loving Year six class at Bethlehem School. We all work hard and try to produce our best work.
We have just finished a successful production of 'Dances through the ages', for our school 125th jubilee and reunion. We are currently learning about Graphing and Statistics in Maths. We are lucky enough to be in either Room 1 or Room 16 for Maths learning. Our Senior School Athletics day is coming up next week, so we are going out for Athletics every afternoon this week. We have finished our unit on recycling with Mr. H and even got to visit the AllBrite recycling centre. We are continuing to learn about a sustainable environment, with Waterline starting today. In Art we have finished our calendars and we think they are pretty colourful and cool. The SPCA also visited last week and taught us how to care for animals and more specifically our pets. In Room 16 we held our own Melbourne Cup on the back field. We learnt about the Melbourne Cup and thought critically about the pros and cons of the cup and betting. We have two class axolotyls that have produced egg. Our baby axolotyls have started to eat the mosquito larvae we have given them and hopefully some of them will survive. We are a very sporty class, so we are looking forward to better weather so we can go out more for PE and PA.
