In art, we have been learning about correct shape, proportion and placement of facial features so our sketches look more realistic. The children's final sketches are far different from the ones they completed before learning about this!
Progressing on to self-portraits and techniques with paint, we have now finished the wonderful pieces of art which the children have worked extremely hard on. Before painting, the paper has a white wash image of each child printed on it which has allowed them to focus more on working with brushes and paint.
